| Remarks: | The diversity of moths was assessed during a field trip to Mount Kolorong, Kuper Range, south of Wau. As soon as the light of the trap was turned on, innumerable moths came like rain from the forest and densely covered not only the screen of the light trap but also the collectors. In less than one hour the students were able to collect the breath-taking number of about 1,200 specimens belonging to almost 300 species. |
